Introducing the Datsusara DISCovery Bag, the first and only hemp disc golf bag currently on the market! With members of our staff and several of our very good friends being avid disc golf players, we just couldn’t bare seeing them out on the course any longer without a high quality Datsusara bag. So we decided to do something about it, and this bag has it all!

We’ve always be conscious of our impact on the environment and with a sport that’s already saturated with so many synthetics and plastic products we felt like disc golfers could use a more sustainable option for carrying their gear. Made with a hemp/organic cotton canvas blend which is naturally anti-microbial, breathable, durable, and environmentally friendly. Details matter when you design a bag and we’ve payed close attention to every last one. There is already enough plastic in this sport, your bag doesn’t need to be synthetic too.

The Discovery Bag features a main compartment with up to a 20 disc capacity and a magnetic flap closure system, an easy access front putter pocket, a top pocket for storing 4-5 of your go-to discs and several other disc compartments strategically placed throughout the bag. There’s even a dedicated pocket for your mini marker disc! This bag also features several other zip and storage pockets for keeping all of your essentials secure and organized. There are places to store your umbrella, disc retriever pole, two beverage pockets and even a place to stash your shades. Two polymer rails on the bottom of the bag keeps your bag off the ground and out of the muck and this bag includes a dedicated rain cover pocket with the rain cover included to keep your bag out of the elements.

While this bag was designed with disc golf in mind, this bag can be used as an awesome travel bag as well.

WHAT ARE PEOPLE SAYING ABOUT US?

High Quality Bag

Ended up buying this bag near the end of last season and it’s been great! Has a lot of features that other bags in its price range do not (ex. rails on the bottom, magnets to keep the pocket open, dividers). The bag is really high quality and fits all my discs (~25) and then some!

Discovery

Bag is fantastic! Sturdy, holds the perfect amount of discs, currently carrying 19 in the main compartment 3 mids, 5 approach/putt, 11 drivers. Have 3 in the putter pocket and 1 more in the front flap. Lots of pockets, space for your retriever and umbrella. Pocket just for your sunglasses. Comes with a rainfly. Would recommend

There is a lot to love:

1. Good quality material. This things feels like it’s gonna last forever.

2. TONS of storage. They don’t even advertise the largest pocket. Behind the mini slot is a pocket big enough for a hoody and all my towels.

3. More pockets and styles of pockets than I know what to do with. I’ll never not have a place to put something.

4. Easy access for loading and unloading discs. The three slots make it easy to organize. Time will tell how well these slots hold up to wear and tear.

5. Rain fly is perfect. Provides extra padding on lower back when not in use.

6. This bag is very comfortable.

7. This bag sits up on its own very well. Even on slopes.

6. One small frustration: the pockets on the top and side that are advertised to hold a disc (like a go to approach disc) seem smaller than advertised. It may be that the pocket needs to stretch? I’m using it but it’s snug.

Swiss army knife

This bag surprised the hell out of me with how much time went into the design, everything from the felt glasses pocket to the retrieval rod holder. If you can think of what you need on the course I bet there is storage intended for it in this bag. Completely aced the understanding of what I needed a bag to be.

Do You Have Any Guarantees?

Datsusara provides a 3 year warranty on bags and a 1 year warranty on fightwear or apparel against faulty manufacturing. If your item breaks due to a fault in manufacturing while under warranty we will repair or replace it free of charge. Please do remember this does not cover natural wear and tear as any natural fiber will wear over time, faster if you are rough on your gear.

Datsusara reserves the right to refuse any warranty claim that it deems to be the consumers fault due to misuse, such as loading up bags with C4 or practicing Jiu Jitsu with badgers. That being said at our discretion we may offer you our wear and tear discount which starts at 30% for year 1, 20% for year two and 10% for year 3.
What Is Your Shipping Policy?

Your order will ship within 24 hours (36 hours for international) Monday-Friday excluding holidays and pre-orders (which ship by the date mentioned on the product's page). A tracking number will be sent to your email once the order ships.

For US domestic shipments the options range from 1-5 days of transit time.

For Canada options range from a few days to a few weeks.

For International orders we have options ranging from around a week with USPS Express, 1-4 weeks Priority and up to 2 months for First Class (only for very small or light items), plus now FedEx options as well.
What is your refund/exchange policy?

We accept most products in their original, odor-free, unused or unworn condition (with any tags) for up to 30 days from the date of shipment, exceptions are t-shirts, rash guards and underwear (which cannot be returned for sanitary reasons). You may either receive store credit or a refund, less all shipping costs and a $1 restock fee per item (please understand that we are a small company and it would hurt us greatly if we had to pay for shipping expenses and restocking costs on non defective returns).

How long will my DS Gear last for?

While everyone’s usage and wear and tear of our gear can vary depending on your individual needs, we do strive to make gear that will last as long as possible. That’s precisely why we back our gear with a 3 year warranty on all of our bags as well as a 1 year warranty on all of our apparel and martial arts gear.
