Great towel. Lightweight and fits into my bag when hiking

These towels are great. I keep on in the gym bag and one in the car. They work great for soaking up and the sweat before a shower and for drying off after a shower. They are thin so they pack down nicely and dont take up too much room.

NEED TO BRING BACK THE POCKET EDITION!!!!! I lost my old one and my life has never been the same. Still love the yoga one, in fact I need more of them. 10 outta 10 would recccomend

great lightweight towels

Super lightweight and packs up in very little space. Although not a thick/plush towel, the fabric is very soft right away after the first wash.

I picked up the beach size and a couple sports size towels about a year ago. I have to say, I absolutely love these towels. They're perfect for travel and for use in a gym bag.. thin, lightweight and antimicrobial yet still as absorbent as a regular towel twice the width.

I use these towels daily and they're a joy. If you want a great travel towel or even an everyday at-home towel, look no further.

Have a few of these now, a bath size for home shower, sports size for face/hair, and a bath size to take to training. They do a good job soaking up water and they dry really quickly!

I own the sport, bath, and yoga towels now and will most likely round out that collection with my next eventual order. All three are phenomenal and have never let me down. First few uses of the bath towel seemed less than stellar, but after that the absorbency seemed to get better with each use! I use it all the time at the gym and when travelling because it compresses down so easily. Sport towel is the best towel for regular gym use I've ever owned by far. Yoga towel... post hot yoga doesn't stink anymore! Love all of them, love the brand, and everybody around loves that they don't smell.

I picked up the largest sized towel for using after training before work. It is a great towel that rolls up pretty small in my bag. The absorption is a little less than my microfiber camping towel I used to use, but it doesn't get stinky in my bag during the workday like my old towel.

I bought this towel when it was a different color, the natural tan, in 2016 for a 3-month backpacking trip through Europe. I was amazed at the price so I gave it a chance. I was advocating sustainability and wanted a towel that is long lasting and had read a lot about hemp clothing at the time. Today in 2018, this towel is not only softer, but also my favorite one as it's true, unlike cotton towels, this one never has that moldy smell to it when it gets wet. After even using it a few days in a row, it feels clean. It's so compact, I can hand wash it, hang to dry and it's ready to go. You cannot do that with traditional cotton towels (they absorb so much water)...this is the most amazing towel and I will not buy from another vendor. This was my first lucky shot in the dark. I will be planning a trip in 2019 and will buy again then as I like the beach&yoga size option !

Love this as a handkerchief! Haven't rocked it as a pocket square but nice to have that option too.

I'll be the first to say that I was quite doubtful of the statement that the more you wash hemp products the softer they become. Well, this towel put that to rest. After constant use in the gym, I can say the more I wash it, the more pleasant wiping sweat off of my brow is while lifting. As an added thing I've noticed, many cotton towels I use retain the sweaty smell after I work out really easily, and being in college I barely have time to do laundry once a week, let alone every other day. This towel changed that need as it really doesn't have a noticeable odor, at least to me, after heavy use for at least a few days. Great product, definitely will be getting the larger towels too.

When I first got the towel, I used it before washing it a couple of times, as is suggested on this page. I was just so excited to try this thing out, but the first time I used it, I was so disappointed that it put me in a bad mood for a while! Definitely wash the towel like 3-4 times before you use it, because it will practically just smear the water on your body instead of absorb it.

After a few washes, the towel was a lot better to use, but I have to say that I'm not happy with it at all, and I wish I had went with the fight shorts instead of the towel in my order. I've used the towel almost every day since it got a couple of washes, and I just don't like it very much. The material feels good, I love how flat and compact it can get, and the color is beautiful. It seems like it takes longer to dry with than the regular, cheap cotton towels I have, and it doesn't keep me as warm when I get out of the shower.

I was planning on getting a bunch of these to replace all my cotton towels with, but I think I'll just have this one instead. Look- I love Datsusara and fully support the company, but this is the only product I've bought from them that I'm not 100% satisfied with. Still, it could be worse. It's still hemp and will last a long time. It's something I'll bring along on camping trips to keep in my backpack in case a spill or something happens. I'd suggest getting the sports or pocket towel first before going with the bath or yoga one to see if you like it. Sorry guys!

Its a great towel for after a workout, it is small and fits almost anywhere. Surprisingly absorbs everything. It is not as comfortable as Egyptian cotton towels but this is a perfect towel for on the go or for a workout.

Plus it is antimicrobial so it does not stink.

First off great, job, I really like the feel and texture of the Hemp towel, I'd have to say its not as absorbent as I thought, but it definitely drys my hands and face. The antimicrobial aspect of the material makes this something to consider if you use your towel everyday like I do. Its lightweight and packs down to a very small size, I think I'll be getting their bath towel as well. Looking forward to your new hoody as well!

I used to use regular old towel for training and would have to deal with that thing being damp in my old gym bag. I upgraded to this towel and to their mini duffle bag and it's a 1-2 combo that I can no longer live without. This towel is super absorbent, takes up very little space in my bag, and dries quickly. cannot and will not use anything else. 5 stars! A++++

Just got the bath towel in yesterday, and while I haven't used it yet, I wanted to give an initial impression of it. Quality of the towel feels great and it even has a certain softness to it... Hard to explain but it feels nice in the hand. Quality and weight, with a great texture.

I purchased the sport and the bath towels. The sport towel is perfect for gym use. The bath towel is very absorbent and it dries quicker than my cotton towels did. I'll buy the pocket towel, next time, to complete the set.

I want to say that I love every Datsusara product I have. I really believe in the message the company promotes. That said, I am a little disappointed with the three towels I purchased. They don’t absorb moisture very well and, the bath towel especially, moves water/moisture around as opposed to soaking it up and drying you off. Have not used it as a yoga mat which I’ll likely eventually do. For now, it’s just hanging in my closet, waiting for another use to be discovered. That said, it is a nice looking towel. Still, much love to the DS family.

This towel is my saving grace when travelling. It is super compact which allows for easy storage in backpacks, my Gear Bag Pro or even my pocket. It easily has enough absorbency for one whole person and a little more if you have longer hair. After that, it's a little to wet to use, but the benefit is it dries VERY quickly. So if you do need the towel for more then just your body, wait a few minutes in the sun and it good to go. As much as I sometimes use this towel for training, I actually use it more for camping and travelling. The size is perfect for those instances.

Highly recommend this to anyone who travels, or wants something that doesn't take up much space.

I order sustainable t-shirts from TS Designs based in Burlington, NC who advocates for the use of hemp in textiles as a more sustainable, Eco-friendly option. So, I began Googling "hemp towels" that lead me to this site. I ordered two of the Sports Towels to try and was not disappointed.

I've tried the travel size micro towels in the past, but didn't like having to "blot" myself dry as they didn't readily slide across my skin. Also, they tended to get waterlogged. These hemp blend Sports Towels are HIGHLY ABSORBENT and do not get waterlogged like the micro towels and slid across my skin like a regular towel which made them easier and more ergonomic to use.

I must admit that after unpacking my order I was a bit skeptical of the absorbency of the flat weave towel and was amazed at just how ABSORBENT they were after my first use. They dried quickly and was fresh enough to reuse multiple times after hanging dry. Additionally, these towels are stitched together very well and seem very durable.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED...I will be ordering more to replace my organic cotton towels nearing the end of their usable life. (I do wish that these hemp blend towels came in a smaller "dish towel" size for use in the kitchen...hint, hint.)
