11 Matt Ross

Matt Ross is a film and television actor whom you may have seen in American Psycho, The Aviator, Big Love or Silicon Valley. He more recently wrote and directed a film called Captain Fantastic which is about a father completely dedicated to raising his six children, by very unconventional means, in the forests of the Pacific Northwest. He is also a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioner amongst other interesting things that are discussed in this episode such as living in the wilderness vs city centers, raising children, working in Hollywood and the general problems of modern civilization.

Nathan has competed at the Eddie Bravo Invitational which airs on UFC Fight Pass. They have both had great success by leaving unfulfilling jobs and following their passion for Jiu Jitsu. They are also advocates for cannabis and Phil (who has a legal background) also works in the cannabis business investment field.
